1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device to remember preferences, session continuity, or aggregated analytics when you opt in.
2. How Motion Spot uses cookies
We split usage into essential cookies required for security and consent memory plus optional analytics cookies that activate only after you choose Allow on the pearl preference panel.
3. Cookie inventory
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| ms_consent_state | Stores Allow/Deny selection & timestamp | 12 months | Motion Spot |
| ms_theme_pref | Remembers light/dark preference | 12 months | Motion Spot |
| ms_session_guard | Rotates session identifiers for forms | Session | Motion Spot |
| analytics_aggregate | Optional usage insights when opted in | 6 months | Analytics subprocessors |
4. Managing cookies
Use the on-site banner controls or clear cookies through browser settings. Denying optional analytics does not block informational browsing.
5. Browser instructions
Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge each include privacy tabs where you can delete stored files per site. Refer to vendor documentation for step-by-step flows.
6. Relationship to wider notices
Analytics cookies that capture identifiers tie back to the Privacy Notice. For questions contact trust-line@motion-spot.digital.
